Documentaries.
I’ve been on a documentary fling for awhile now. It started out with “Man On Wire”, then onto “Annie Leibovitz: Life through a Lens”, “Dear Zachary” (this is absolutely morbid, but almost impossible to not watch after seeing the trailer), and most recently, “Drive Well, Sleep Carefully, the Death Cab For Cutie Tour Documentary” (this is also produced by Gary Hustwit, the director of Helvetica and Objectified). All of which I really love and recommend. In my Wish List, I have “I Am Trying to Break Your Heart: A Film About Wilco”, and “American Movie”, which is too much of a classic for me not to rent.
What have you been watching lately? Anything I should be adding to my iTunes Wishlist?
(sidenote: iTunes doesn’t allow rentals to be added to a wishlist. What’s up with that?)
